"New" Navigation License (Old Titulín)
Basic Navigation Skipper (PNB)
Recreational Boats Skipper (PER)
Official Internships for the Patron De Embarcaciones De Recreo (PER)
"New" Navigation License (Old Titulín)
Attributions:
- Government of nautical motorcycles and recreational boats up to 6 meters in length.
- Adequate engine power for the boat.
- Daylight navigation.
- Maximum 2 miles from a shelter.
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old, with parental permission.
- Take a theoretical-practical course of 6 hours duration.
- Provide a valid medical examination.
- Request the issuance of the Navigation License
Basic Navigation Skipper (PNB)
Attributions:
- Recreational motor boats up to 8 meters in length and jet skis.
- Up to 5 miles from a shelter.
- Complementary powers (rooms)
- Recreational sailboats with the same attributions as motorboats.
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old, with parental permission.
- Pass a 27-question multiple-choice test.
- Carry out 8 hours of safety and navigation practices.
- Take the 4-hour radio communications training course for PNB.
- Sailing boat license: 16 hours of sailing practice.
Recreational Boats Skipper (PER)
Attributions:
- Recreational motorboats up to 15 meters in length and jet skis.
- Up to 12 miles from the coast. Balearic and Canary Islands between islands.
- Complementary powers (Entitlements)
- Recreational sailboats with the same attributions as motorboats.
- Recreational motor and, if applicable, sailing vessels up to 24 meters in length and navigation between the mainland and the Balearic Islands, including the intermediate islands.
- They will be able to obtain certain professional attributions.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be at least 18 years old and pass a 45-question multiple-choice test.
- Carry out 16 hours of safety and navigation practice.
- Complete the 12-hour short-range radio operator training course.
- Sailing boat license: 16 hours of sailing practice.
- 24 meters qualification and navigation Peninsula – Balearic Islands: 24 hours of navigation practices in crossing.
- Request the issuance of a card with a valid medical examination.
